This is Meyer. He is a confident man cat. He will sit around in chairs and if you happen to be in the one he wants to sit in, he will ask you to move. Now if there is room, he loves it if you sits beside him and give him wonderful strokes. He is an adult and doesn't want to be carried around like a small kitten. Eating and sleeping are his 2 favorite past times, but you will see the young Meyer come out when you pet him and try to get him to interact with toys. Ask him nicely and he will do a few yoga positions for you. When you have company, they will look at Meyer and say ""what a cool guy"". He is not wild about young children. If they don't bother him, he won't bother them. However if they get a little too touchy, he'll give them a nip or a slap. He is fine around other cats. We are not sure about dogs, but he is laid back and perhaps would adjust quickly. We are just not sure. If think you want this dignified fellow to be a part of your home, let us know and we will set up a chance to interact with this guy.Five adult cats, all a beautiful and sweet, were sitting in the Haralson County Animal Control which was overcrowded as it. With so many cats being brought in, something had to give and these guys were put on the euthanasia list. Floyd Felines saw this and wants to help any they are able because all cats are important whether they are an adult or a cute little kitten. We took 5 and saved their lives as well as giving others there an opportunity to have more time to look for homes. We are getting these fully vetted and will find them a safe, inside home where they will never have to be put down just to make room for more unwanted cats and they will deserve the love they deserve.
