She might be small but that does not hold her back. She is a little boss with a fearless personality that is endearing and entertaining. Dora loves to play and will play with anything that resembles a toy. Even though she has lots of energy, she loves to cuddle up once she is tuckered out. In foster care, Dora has been exposed to other cats and would thrive in any kind of household that will give her lots of attention and cuddles. Since Dora is so playful she would thrive with another playful cat or even be adopted with her siblings, Donald,Dexter, and Dorian who are equally as awesome as her. She would also do well in a house with kids to play with to get all her energy out. A funny fact about Dora is that she can be a tiny alpha and will sometimes boss her (bigger) Mama, Delilah around. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.
