Hi! Im Marley, a sweet, but shy guy staying here at Blue Mountain Humane Society. I came here with my buddies Boboy and Jay Jay while we wait for our furr-ever homes! It may take me a little bit to warm up to you, but once I do, I will curl up in your lap and nap the day away! I can be pretty startled by loud noises and sudden movements, so I would probably do best in a home without dogs or small children. If I sound like the right guy for you, fill out an application online, and come down to see me! I cant wait to meet you!Adoption process1. Browse the animals online or stop by during our shelter hours.2. Get to know the animal. Play with them, take them for a quick walk, observe their behavior.3. Talk to our staff about the animal. Learn about their personality!4. Once you’ve decided to adopt, fill out an adoption application. Dogs over the age of 6 months can go on a home-trial to make sure they are your perfect match. Puppy, cat, and kitten adoptions can be finalized that day!5. Receive a lifetime of unconditional love! Animals are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Part of our mission is to place the animals in their new forever home as soon as possible, so we normally don't "hold" an animal for the Adopter.Shelter locationWe are open to the public Tuesday - Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for adoptions. Special events include PETCO & Farmer's Market in Walla Walla. Our pets can also be seen online at www.bluemountainhumane.org
