BRUNO`S ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN SPONSORED Outgoing and social kitty with a strong/muscular tom cat. He was shy when he first arrived to the shelter, but after a few days, he became confident and more outgoing. He doesn`t like his back side of the body touched and will love bite, so he is looking for a cat-savvy, adult only household. He prefers to be the only cat in the household.Bruno is also FIV+, so he needs to be an inside only cat. FIV is slow acting, cat-only virus, and cannot be transmissible to humans, dogs, or other species of animals. FIV is not spread casually – like in litter boxes, food and water bowls, or when snuggling and playing. Instead, FIV is spread through serious, deep penetrating bite wounds -- The type of bite wound that is seen most often in feral, intact tomcats -- or by blood transfusions. Cats with FIV can live very long, perfectly comfortable lives. Provide FIV+ cats with a good diet and annual veterinarian exam, and address any secondary health concerns as they arise.**WALK IN SHELTER TO ADOPT Tuesday Noon-5pm, Wednesday 12-6pm, Thursday-Sunday Noon-5pm (Closed Mondays and Holidays). All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet & greet process, please bring a hard copy of a completed adoption application found here https://animalcare.saccounty.gov/Documents/AdoptionApp_CATS_10-26-22-fillable.pdf and provide Animal ID numbers of the kitties you might be interested in meeting.
