Meow there, my name is Ace and I'm a handsome 1 year old happy boy ready for my next adventure! I enjoy hanging out with people and would love to spend my day just being with you and casually placing a Chewy order for a snack delivery, or two! I'm kind of new here so my foster human is learning about my each day, but so far I've shown that I am a well behaved, affectionate boy who is sure to make a great companion. I'm really excited to meet my forever person, perhaps that is you? Let's learn more about each other, together! I am now accepting applications, available below!Ace has a heart murmur that will be evaluated on April 10 by a cardiologist at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists. The cost of the appointment is inclusive of the adoption fee. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.Adoption processAll potential adopters must fill out the Ten Lives adoption application, show proof of either home ownership or landlords approval, and current veterinary records for any resident animals. All approved adopters will be required to sign the Ten Lives adoption agreement.Shelter locationAll Ten Lives cats are located in foster homes throughout Rhode Island and available for meet and greets after an approved adoption application.
