Alfred, that's my name, don't wear it out. In fact, speaking of out, don't expect me to be out and about any time soon. I'm still getting used to you humans and frankly you scare the livin' daylights outta me. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of regular feedings and a warm soft place to snooze in. It's that whole "here kitty kitty, let me pick you up and hold you and pet you" that freaks me out. I'll get used to it with time, just don't expect it to happen as soon as you take me home, or even overnight. Be like that turtle, slow and steady wins the race. I'll do best in a quiet adult home with a patient adopter.
