Duchess is a beautiful young mother, approximately 1 year old with her first litter of kittens. She is litter box trained and accustomed to living with other cats, but is shy of humans and does not seek affection. She plays with toys, plays with her kittens like she is a kitten herself and sits near me and my children but in the four months she’s been in my home with her kittens, she has not asked to be petted. She was docile when I gave her a bath and will allow petting while she’s eating. I expect she would do best in a quiet home with older children and adults. She needs one on one time with a patient human.
