Description:
A city trapper brought us Toby to fill a spot at feral clinic. He turned out to be not at all feral, just a wild young boy who had likely been dumped. His first Felv/FIV snap test, which is a simple test done dripping a blood sample onto a test kit, came up "faintly positive" for Felv. He was soon retested with an IFA test at a vet that came up negative. A month later he was tested again with another snap test and another lab test called a PCR, both of which were negative! Because of this need to quarantine him in his own room until his retests could be done, Toby has been starving for space and attention. He is high energy and playful. He may not be a good fit for young kids as he can be "grabby" and "mouthy," though he responds well to training and is very food and play motivated.
