Meet Oboe! Oboe and his siblings were found by a good Samaritan hiding in a bunch of bushes in Weatherford when they were about 2 weeks old in September 2023. The Samaritan reached out to Saving Hope hoping there was a bottle feeder who would be able to save this sweet family of 5. A bottle feeder quicker raised their hands - and transport was arranged and the babies were safe. The fosters determined that Oboe had to be the oldest of the siblings - as he was always the first to cry for another meal, and boss his siblings around. He was the first to open his eyes, wean himself from the bottle and in true ginger fashion figured out how to escape the kitten pen. Oboe is now a very beautiful loving 6 month-old fully vetted love bug who is ready to find his forever home. Oboe gets along with everyone. He loves to ride on his fosters shoulder and purr in her ear. Oboe enjoys sitting at the computer while his foster works, and has been the star of many zoom conference calls, as well as sending coded messages to the fosters boss!!!Oboe's favorite toy are twist ties, and ping pong balls, over the Christmas holiday he discovered jingle bells, and the foster is still finding them under the couch.Oboe has spent his entire life with big dogs, and several cats, all with different personalities, and he's fine with all of them with proper introductions. Oboe has not been around small children but he should do fine with older ones. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption.
