Estimated DOB: 07/21/2022 Baxter came to ACR as a stray from a nearby town during winter. He's spent the last few months learning to trust humans and has done great! He is a curious cat that loves attention. As soon as you walk in the room he's coming to visit you! If you want him to be next to you all you need to do is sit or pat something next to you and he'll come running! Baxter is a sweet boy that loves to play. Baxter is not picky about toys and will play with anything you bring him! He'll jump and chase cat wands too. Baxter also loves to watch bird tv or sit on the cat tree to watch out the window. Baxter does get excited about attention and sometimes can love bite in excitement. He's learning not to give love bites. He currently lives with teenagers and does well. He's been around preschool age children and done okay, but due to his love biting he probably would do better in a household with older children or no children. He loves to be petted and brushed, but Baxter is not a fan of being picked up and will try to instantly get away if you try to pick him up.
