Mitzy & Litzy, Domestic Shorthair For Adoption In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Price:
$100
Location:
Philadelphia, PA
Description:

Mitzy and Litzy, names that rhyme because they're down for a good time! These tiny sisters are just starting out in the world, so the future is as bright as it is unknown. Found stray together and with some suspicious hairloss, they ended up testing positive for ringworm and will need to continue that treatment in an adoptive home until they can be cleared and receive their spay surgeries. Since they are so young, they would do best staying together so they can learn and grow into their best selves! Ringworm care can actually be a breeze with the right set-up and if you have the time to dedicate to it, but can be a bit tedious since it can spread easily to any living creature and requires some caution to prevent that. Ideally we would love to find a home without any really young kids or other pets, just to limit the risk of exposure, unless the home has enough space to keep everyone fully and safely separated. PAWS provides all of the medications and other treatments needed at our clinic, so please read through the info linked below and if you feel like your home would be a fit you can apply and reach out to us to learn more! Age: ~1 month old How I came to PAWS: Found Stray Animal ID#: A52653 & A52654 Location: PAWS Grays Ferry Clinic/Foster Care. This is not a walk-in facility, so please email XXXX@phillypaws.org to set up a time to meet this kitty! **This/These pet(s) are currently being treated for ringworm, a mild fungal infection of the skin that usually clears up within 6-8 weeks of starting treatment. All the follow-up care we provide for your ringworm pet is free of charge at a PAWS facility while they finish their treatment with you, and we are with you every step of the way! You can learn more about adopting a pet with ringworm here.** **Because this/these pet(s) aren't yet altered, they are only eligible for adoption via our Pre-Adopt program, which will require an extra verification step as well as a $100 deposit per animal that is fully refunded after their spay/neuter surgeries. Any additional questions about this can be covered when you reach out about them!**_____________________________________ To adopt a cat, complete the application at phillypaws.org/catapp.To adopt a dog, complete the application at phillypaws.org/dogapp. Please reference this animal's ID NUMBER when inquiring.
