Hickory~born~November 2020Hickory and Spruce are a bonded brother and sister who were rescued from a hoarding house. Despite that they are very very sweet.They didn't keep birth records in that hoarding house where Hickory and Spruce were first rescued but we think they're siblings or maybe, given how differently they look, half siblings. They definitely consider each other family and we're going to make sure they get to stay together. Hickory is a black and white cow cat. He's bigger than Spruce and a little more reserved. Hickory isn't sure about being petted or brushed but he loves to play. Wave a wand toy around and he'll always come toward you. Hickory has a long term eye issue ("excessive tear production") that causes his face to get a bit goopy at times. He's been to the vet for it. It's NOT contagious and we're trying out different supplements to clear it up. Fortunately it does not affect his vision. Or his sweet, shy personality. Note: Hickory and Spruce currently live in a foster home with several other cats. Some of them they get along with and some they don't.
