Thank you.Please call/text this number if interested: 304-676-XXXX Cat located in this city: Lakewood Ranch/BradentonCat’s Name: Flint Cat’s Age & Sex: 5 year old male Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): neutered/vaccinations up to date/microchipped Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): Flint was adopted from Nate’s Honor Animal Rescue as a kitten along with one of his brothers. Flint has progressively become aggressive toward his brother to the point where we have had them totally separated for 6 months. We have tried many options that we research as well as suggested by our vet. None have worked. Both cats are so much happier apart. We want both to be in a loving home where they can feel safe and loved. Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Initially shy but warms up. He loves attention, playing and sleeping beside a human. He enjoys to be brushed. Talkative but not too talkative. Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): Toys cat carrier, and bed. What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): wet food in the morning and evening and dry food at night :::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this.
