ABOUT NUBETTE Nubette is a 5 year old black beauty that can't wait to melt your heart. She came to HAP when our veterinarian found her as a stray with a degloved tail and burns on her belly. Our medical team swiftly treated her injuries and now she has the cutest nub tail. Despite her past, this lovely lady could not be sweeter! She is sure to greet you with a top-notch runway walk and the loudest purrs ever. When she's not curled up in someone's lap, she is usually snuggled up in an extra large cat bed taking a snooze. She loves getting affection from people but is also happy to sprawl out and watch the birds. Nubette has her playful moments but nothing beats her love for catnip. Nubette isn't a huge fan of other animals, but she loves soaking up all the love children have to offer. We absolutely adore her and hope that you will too! **This cat has tested positive for FIV, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Many cats with FIV can live a long and happy lifespan if kept indoors and given routine veterinary care. FIV is not contagious to people or animals other than cats. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
