Lucy came in to us as a scared stray. She is 1 years old and needs a lot of love. Lucy has done very well and trusting us. She welcomes pets and love. She would probably be fine with another kitty, but probably no dogs or children. If you are interested in adopting, applications can be found on our website www.ahimsahaven.org. Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only. As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.February 19, 2024, 8:02 pmAdoption processOur animal listings are updated daily to reflect any adoptions, sometimes even minutes after the adoption. As we are an all volunteer organization, we are not able to answer phone/email inquiries about specific cats until your application has been submitted and approved. Current fees can be found on our website at ahimsahaven.org Some animals are part of our Take A Chance On Me program and have a small adoption fee. You can see which ones on our website's "Take A Chance On Me" page. Our adoption fees include spay or neuter, vaccinations. Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue is a nonprofit organization, so your donations are tax deductible. Our adoption policies are as follows: We require a signed adoption contract, and payment of adoption fee prior to placement. Fee is refundable if the animal is returned within 30 days. We require that the animal be returned to our care, in the event the placement does not work out even if that is many years in the future.Shelter locationCurrently our Open Hours are suspended but one-on-one adoption opportunities still exist.
