Bunny is the cutest kitten ever with the glossiest coat!. She was found as a tiny kitten under a car. We took her into our rescue and named her Bunny because she hops like a bunny....partly due to a little deformity. One of her back paws is missing! Our vet believes this is a birth defect and she does have a little pad where her toes would have been. We think it makes her even more adorable...if that is even possible!. She is negative on her FIV/FELV test and has begun her series of vaccinations. She will be spayed prior to adoption. See below for our adoption protocol. Save A Kitty, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) kitty rescue. Our adoption process is as follows: We require a completed application, a home check, and an adoption fee (with the amount depending upon the kitty). We will also discount the adoption fee, if an individual adopts 2 kitties at the same time. All of our kitties have been quarantined for a minimum of 15 days, had their shots, been tested for FIV/FELV, given parasite treatment, and will be spayed/neutered before being placed into their forever home.Adoption processWe have a 2 page application. We do a home check and have an option if we adopt to do a follow-up visit. Our adoption contract is a legal document and includes no release of adopted cats to a third party. We have an adoption fee that ranges from $125 to $200 depending upon the kitty, which helps us with some of the medical costs to ready our kittens for adoption (including testing for FIV/FELV, spaying/neutering, shots, deworming, and flea treatment). If 2 cats are being adopted, we will sometimes reduce the fee. Even if we do a home check, that does not constitute an adoption.Shelter locationWe hold kitty adoptions at the Petco in Van Nuys and Granada Hills as well as Whole Foods.
