Hi I'm Sunshine!! Getting used to this new place can be a bit overwhelming, but the SPARC staff has been great in getting to know me more each day. Us cats take our time to feel comfy in new spots, so feeling a bit shy is normal for us. I'm an adorable and affectionate cat in search of a forever home. Showing off my playful and loving side might catch the eye of potential adopters. The staff is helping spread the word about me through social media to find that special someone. Just waiting patiently for my purr-fect home to come along! If there's something more you'd like to know, I'm all ears!Adoption processOur adoption process includes an application, an interview to match potential adopters with the right pet, and an adoption fee. For dogs, the fee is $125.00 and includes the spay/neuter, the microchip and its registration, up-to-date vaccinations, and the license if you reside in Santa Paula. Puppies start at $200.00 and up.Large dogs require a home check. For cats, the fee is $100.00 and includes the spay/neuter, the microchip and its registration, and up-to-date vaccinations. Kittens are $125.00Shelter locationThe Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center is located at 705 E. Santa Barbara Street in Santa Paula, California. We are open to the public on Tuesdays through Sundays, from 10am to 5pm. We are closed to the public every Monday.
