BIO: Hi, my name is Barb! I am looking forward to someone making me theirs. I am a little shy to begin with but as I learn to trust you, I relax and start to purr. I enjoy playing on the cat furniture, chasing toys and play fighting with my litter mates. My dream would be to get adopted with one of my siblings so we can play together. Please give me the chance I deserve for a loving family to call my own! RESCUE: My siblings and I had been caught in a small carrier and we were not let out for 2 days! Our captors did not know what to do but luckily someone recommended that they call ARC. You can imagine, we were in such a horrible state in that carrier and it was so very hot! We felt traumatized by this experience and didn't trust the humans; not even the ones who gently freed us out of the carrier. Since then, most of us have revised our opinions and have come to enjoy good food and cuddles.Adoption processAdoption application, adoption counseling, adoption fees ($60-$85, generally; specific breeds are $135).Shelter locationPlease complete an online application and email us. Adoptions are by appointment on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 5-6:30 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays, 1-4:30 pm.
