I'm Jolly, and yet I feel achingly sad being without a loving home. I've resided at the shelter for over a year now, and it has hit me hard that I haven't received interest throughout my time here. I started my residency extremely hopeful about finding my love, but as the months have passed, so has my optimism.I used to be the first one to greet visitors and ask for pets, but now I just sleep in my bed most of the day. My caretakers tell me not to give up and that my human is out there, but it's hard some days to keep believing. I'm writing this letter because there is a small part of me that does believe in miracles, and I cannot give up on my dream of being adopted.If you would like to be my miracle this year by giving me the gift of family, please contact the shelter to apply for me. The day I'm adopted and start sharing my heart with you will be the best day of my life.Jolly would love to be the single cat of the household or live with laid-back kitties. Adoption processOur adoption process includes reference checks, landlord approval, and an adoption contract. All dogs and cats are spayed or neutered before they leave the shelter. The adoption fee for a dog is $175.00 and puppies are $225.00, which includes the spay or neuter and all required canine immunizations, microchipping, wormer and flea treatment. The adoption fee for an Adult Cat is $75.00 which includes the spay or neuter, all required feline immunizations and testing for FeLV and FIV, microchipping, plus wormer and flea treatment.
