Pharaoh is a sweet active adult cat who was found wandering the streets this last October. With some medical drama, he was quickly neutered and ready for a forever home. He is a very long, tall, thin cat who is mischievous, a little clumsy, curious, loves to jump up and climb as high as he can. He is independent, does not like to be picked up, not a big cuddler or a lapcat however he is very playful, an early riser and sleeps through the night. He is a good eater with a sensitive stomach. He is named Pharaoh because of his sharp Egyptian like features and truly you will be his loving servant. Pharaoh was born around 10/27/2021.Adoption processOnce you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend an online group seminar on cat care. Then you would sign the adoption papers, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older. All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered.
