Tofu came to us all grumpy and crusty and full of fleas, but her foster is hard at work snuggling her and convincing her to be friendly. As a super fluffy baby, she needs daily brushing, especially when her adult coat comes in and is prone to mats. Once she is friendly, fixed, and fully vetted, she will be ready to go to her forever home. She would love to be adopted with her sister Sweets or her brother Rufio, so preference will be given to adopters interested in the pair. Each cat will come to their new home neutered or spayed, with age-appropriate vaccines, individually tested negative for FeLV, FIV and heartworms, and microchipped.They can travel along I-35 in Texas with rescue partner for a small donation. Transport is available to most southern states, CT, NY, PA, ME, NJ and a few other states for $175. All out of state adoptions/transport MUST have an Interstate Health Certificate by a qualified veterinarian for $85. We do not adopt out to Florida or California as those states have an abundance of Siamese needing placement within their respective states. Three personal references, a veterinary reference, a completed application, an adoption contract, and an adoption donation are required for adoption.
