Animated, curious, snuggly What's better than a platter of nachos? The Nacho, of course! This curious, friendly cat has affection to spare and wants to lavish you with cuddles. This guy loves getting attention but he also loves his independence. He's an assertive explorer with varied interests, like playing in cat tunnels, lounging at the top of a cat tree, or hunting for socks. He's not afraid to prance right up your torso and head butt your face when he needs pets. The Nacho also gets along with other cats, from the kitties in the shelter to the other cat in his foster home. He actually escaped from his enclosure specifically to hang out with the other cat! He's on acknowledgement terms with the dog in his foster home - they say hello to each other but that's as far as it goes. The Nacho would be great with cat-friendly children who can respectfully interact with him. The truth is, he'd be great with just about anyone! This is a well-rounded kitty who brings fun wherever he goes. Contact us to meet this handsome tabby, The (one and only) Nacho! The Nacho has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. The Nacho can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine!
