Cassie is a beautiful friendly female tabby with bright attentive light green eyes. Cassie likes attention, brushes and napping. Cassie is a little on the heavy side since she had to be put in a cage because she is fussy with other cats. She would do best as an only cat to the household…..unless you test Cassie with your current cats properly. The rescue owner can explain how this is done. We would love to place Cassie where she can get some love and exercise. Please Contact Joy’s Animal Rescue with any questions.Adoption processWe have an adoption contract that is filled out by all prospective adopters. We then do a vet check to make sure all animals currently and in the past were kept up on their shots. We then charge an $85 adoption fee for cats. The fees include the spay or neuter. If the pet has not been spayed or neutered prior to going home there is a $50 hold that is returned upon confirmation of the spay or neuter. And a contract is signed with the rescue.Shelter locationCurrently we do adoptions out of the Petco located in New Market Square in Wichita Kansas. We currently house cats in their adoption section at the front of the store. We also place pictures on our Facebook page.
