Pippa is such a sweet long haired Tuxedo cat (black and white). She is declawed on her front paws. Her elderly owners relinquished Pippa to the rescue because they could no longer care for her. She is healthy, she has just become over weight, and has been placed on a special diet. Pippa loves morning snuggles, being brushed and drinking from water fountains. She does well with other cats and came from a home with a small dog and older children, so she gets along with just about everyone! Please be the one person who will help Pippa with her diet and in return she will bring some happiness into your home. Contact Joy’s Animal Rescue for information or questions.Adoption processWe have an adoption contract that is filled out by all prospective adopters. We then do a vet check to make sure all animals currently and in the past were kept up on their shots. We then charge an $85 adoption fee for cats. The fees include the spay or neuter. If the pet has not been spayed or neutered prior to going home there is a $50 hold that is returned upon confirmation of the spay or neuter. And a contract is signed with the rescue.Shelter locationCurrently we do adoptions out of the Petco located in New Market Square in Wichita Kansas. We currently house cats in their adoption section at the front of the store. We also place pictures on our Facebook page.
