Amber is looking for a happy ending to her story. Dumped on a property in Green Lane in May 2023 along with 3 other cats scared and unsure of what what they did to deserve that. Stray Cat Blues was contacted by the property owner to help catch the kittens she had and trap, spay, and release Amber back. Her kittens were easily caught and they have now found their forever family. She showed that she had a sweet spirit and the trapper decided to give her a chance to once again become a house cat. She is a sweet girl who will need an understanding person to give her the time that she will need to feel safe and loved again. She loves pets, will purr, and roll over for belly rubs. She is looking for a quieter home to settle in with her forever person. Will you give this girl her happily ever-after?Adoption processDuring review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease. We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption. Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative. All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted. You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings).
