Evie is a snuggly yet adventurous little girl. She loves to play and run around with the other kitty in her foster home but she’s also a girl who enjoys a nice nap in the sun and to sleep in on the weekends. Evie will probably take some time to warm up and show her true personality, but once she is comfortable, she will be your little shadow. Evie would enjoy living with one other kitty but we believe she would be fine on her own too. Evie is a unique little girl with her half orange half black face, but she’s unique in another way too. She has a heart condition called Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) which basically means she has a hole that allows blood to flow between the left and right ventricles of the heart in a way it is not supposed to. Many kitties affected by this condition require no treatment and have a good prognosis. Evie's hole is relatively large for her small size but her veterinarians are hopeful that she can have a good prognosis, if taken care of correctly. She will likely need lifelong medication but don’t let that discourage you from meeting this sweet little girl! Evie’s condition is very manageable - she takes 1/4 of a pill once a day and she knows the routine so she eats it right up with her dinner! If worried about cost - a bottle of 60 pills can be purchased from Chewy Pharmacy for $10.8. And she gets 1/4 of a pill per day. So her medical cost is less than $11 for almost a year's worth of medicine.Please don’t skip over Evie just because she needs a little extra care. She’s a sweet girl who wants a family of her own.
