We decided to start October off with the introduction of Midnight. He's an, approximately, 4 year old, domestic short hair, black in color, cat with a definite "catty" personality. He was abandoned in a location, outside, near the busiest of streets. Midnight is a definite domestic that has probably been poked and messed with by humans in the past because he shares his opinions with us when we try and change out any blanket that has his smell on it. He would do best in a home where he can just do his own thing most, but not all, of the time. Midnight should be adopted by a cat savvy person that understands species cat. He is a nice cat that has his quirks not making him a great candidate for the beginner cat owner. In addition, the Newport Beach Animal Shelter staff are very experienced with the variety of scenarios and concerns that the cat community has with adopting out black cats this month so Midnight will only be available with a legitimate screening of interested adopters to ensure his long term safety.
