Meow! I am a charismatic cat named Wart. I am a very sweet, confident, and talkative DSH brown/gold tabby male. I look like I may have some Bengal or Savanna traits in me. I am very active and playful and demand my share of individual attention. I LOVE all kinds of petting and I like to rub against you seeking affection. I'm comfortable being held or laying on a lap. Being scruffed is not my favorite. I'm not a cuddler, mostly because I have no time for that; I'm too busy looking for my next adventure. I was in rough shape when I arrived from Roswell, NM. My fur was a little thin in my back area, and it was determined I have a food allergy. My special prescription food (dry or wet) has been Hill's Z/D Skin Sensitivities. So, NO TREATS for me please. Otherwise, I will scratch incessantly and be sick. My approximate DOB is 3/14/22, and I also tested FIV+ during my medical review. I have discovered I LOVE going outside with a leash while wearing my harness. I get so excited for my daily walkabouts! My internal clock is punctual so be prepared to hear me say "it's time for my exercise!". I will need an active adopter to match my needs for attention, energy, playfulness, and I'm hopeful be willing to take me on walks or have a safe enclosure to enjoy a little outdoor time. Lots of wand play and toys will also be appropriate when the weather turns cold. My competitiveness has been an issue with other kitties, so it is best I am the only kitty in the home.
