This is Toby aka Ghost Cat. TAS' current TriPod. ( only 3 legs doesn't slow him down a bit). This picture is an aberration. His foster mom got lucky and cornered him in the bathroom. I'm his foster and here is the real story. He is a Midnight Ryder. It's the only time he comes our to roam the house, eat and like a good kitty, uses his litter. He is the cat for you if you have a spouse/partner who has never wanted wanted a cat? This is the guy for you!!! Unless they are an insomniac and roam at night...you'll never know he is there. ( wait..IF YOU come out at night he goes back to hiding).If you want a cat just because you like to scoop the litter, put out food yet, never see him. Toby is the cat for you. Now, IF you manage to wrangle him, he loves to be held and petted. He isn't mean or feral like at all. He was found with a leg stuck, hanging off a fence. The reason for his amputation. TAS is guessing, maybe he had never been in a house. Who knows?There are dogs in his foster home. Don't seem to bother him. He is very smart! If you find a hiding place, he moves on to a new one. The perfect home for him is an educated cat person with a lot of patience and best, no hiding places:). He is touchable and has the potential to be a good , maybe not the social butterfly , cat. It can't be stressed enough. He will hide when you take him home. I'd suggest a private space he can't get away from and you can touch him daily. He does like that.
