Sterling, a brown tabby kitten, born November 2021 lets you place him in your lap, staying for short sessions of petting and brushing. He prefers to sit next to you. He is kitten active, enjoying playing with toys and watching wildlife at the window. He purrs on contact with his trusted person. Sterling is quiet until mealtime when he tells you to hurry up. He is affectionate on his terms, friendly with known people, shy around strangers, and he hasn’t met children, but should be fine if they are gentle. His foster home has an active dog which Sterling avoids. He accepts most cats after proper introductions. He would not do well as an only cat. Sterling uses a scratching post and is litter trained. Siblings are available. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored).
