Polar Girl Cat Friendly Laid Back Little Girl Senior Female

Location:
Bellingham, WA
Description:

Cat friendly, dog friendly, absolutely ADORABLE pouty faced girl!!! Are you looking for a companion that will love you forever and will be there by your side no matter what? A companion that will look at you with so much love and gratefulness? Polar Girl is the sweetheart for you! She loves affection and has the sweetest most innocent personality about her and deserves to be loved and cherished and given the best life possible. Watch her video here: https://youtu.be/JzVEQGLQYII?si=sTOGPR_iHSP9YF-w Polar Girl is a beautiful white pittie approximately 7 years old and currently weighs 46 lbs and is on the smaller side. She has a smaller frame making her the perfect size. Not too big, not too small. Polar is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee the breed or age. But since we have had her in our care she is already doing so much better and gaining more confidence in herself every day. She bonds very quickly with people once she is comfortable and is very loyal and tolerant. She did great during her assessment and at our facility during a very busy day and she handled the chaos like a champ! Polar even did great around a 2 year old and was completely unphased by him. She would most likely prefer to be in a calmer household but if you have kids that come over or like to have friends over she will be completely comfortable with that. Polar is dog friendly and did best with other dogs that were calm like her. She is not playful and prefers to keep to herself around other dogs. She can be adopted out as an only dog as well because she does not need another dog to make her feel comfortable. Polar is low energy and could be placed in a home with a back yard or even in an apartment/condo type of environment. She does not require much exercise and will be perfectly happy going on a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood and coming back home and relaxling on the couch watching a movie with you. Polar is easy to walk on a leash and she already knows basic commands such a sit. She is treat motivated which will make further training that much easier. To our knowledge she is crate trained and potty trained but may need a reminder about where the appropriate potty places are once she arrives at her forever home. Polar loves to go on car rides and she will make the perfect companion to take you to run errands and she would love it if you stopped by the pet store so she can pick out her favorite treat or if you took her to starbucks for a pup cup. All she wants is a loving family that will cherish her and show her the love she so deserperately deserves. We are willing to test Polar Girl with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.)• A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week)• One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan• 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan• Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
