HISTORY: The Gemstone litter -- OPAL, SAPPHIRE, MOONSTONE, AMETHYST and EMERALD -- was born at F after their mama DIAMOND rescued from a yard, heavily pregnant and needing a safe place to give birth. DIAMOND’s babies were then raised in a foster home with other cats. TEMPERAMENT: MOONSTONE is deaf like her mama. This tiny but mighty girl doesn't let that slow her down. She follows the lead of her littermates but isn't afraid to explore on her own. She loves to play and, once tired, will look for a warm lap. MOONSTONE needs a special adopter who is either with experienced with deaf cats or very willing to learn what she needs for her safety and enrichment. She must be adopted with her brother SAPPHIRE as a familiar, trusted companion. No dogs.
