COURTESY POST - Available for Adoption - Macy Macy is not a cuddly cat that gets along with other cats. She is terrified of them. She hates too much patting and will hiss or walk away if she doesn't like you. She's aloof and wants to be left alone. She's not dumb. While these traits don't sound like an ideal match for a companion animal, she could care less. She doesn't live for you. She protects herself. She was once abandoned, made to breed, and forced to live with all kinds of loud animals. She wants peace and quiet. She wants independence and a shelf to sit so she can sun herself. She doesn't ask for much. She is smart. When she's tired she just finds a spot to curl up in, preferably away from you. But every so often she shows love. She follows you, reminds you when it's dinner time, lends her ear, and warms her bum at the bottom of the bed. She's beautiful and she won't shed because of her breed; she's a Russian blue She's being displaced and knows it. She's going to feel the pain of the loss of her family and everything she knows and loves. She will need understanding and time. Maybe she will surprise you?
