Hi...I'm Zimmerman....and I'm looking for a special home. I'm shy, but want desperately to be loved. I was found dumped outside in December so an IndyHumane employee brought me into her home. I was very stressed at 1st and hid under the bed, but then slowly started to warm up. I love canned food and appreciated the head scratching while I was snacking. I'm not a big fan at all of being carried around, but I absolutely love sitting in sunny window sills. I've been living with other cats and we get along fine. I would need someone willing to be VERY patient while I adjusted to a new environment. There are several volunteers here at the shelter who swear I'm a teddy bear in disguise....currently hiding in a grisly bear suit. I still grumble sometimes when people reach to pet me, but then I quickly bump my head into the hands for more. Please ask an adoption counselor to introduce us? I'm living upstairs in an office of the shelter.
