Black/tan tabby, shorthair, male, born approximately. 1/1/11, #9820Valentino was looking for food in an area where there are a large number of homeless cats and rescuers work with a trap-neuter-release program. He went into 1 of their traps; when it was discovered that Valentino is very friendly indeed, The Rescue House was asked to help find him a home instead of returning him to the streets.Valentino's name says it all: he is a major pal, companion, and love bug. He doesn't just get by on his looks, though. Valentino is a model cat who loves to "talk" and interact with you. In his foster home he immediately made himself at home and demonstrated his extensive skills as a desk paperweight. It didn't take long for Valentino to acclimate to the many other cats in his foster home. Though a bit too dominant for some of the gentler male cats, he got along with the others and would share the bed and couch with them. He'd probably do best living with female cats, though. We don't know yet how he feels about dogs, though as a confident guy we suspect he'd do well once introduced. Kids should be fine.Valentino is very grateful that his days on the streets are over; he knows how to appreciate the warmth, security, and love of a permanent home.
