Meet Spud, 5 years old Domestic Shorthair
Spud is a exquisite big orange and precious cat. He needs some time to warm up to new people. He tends to be a loner and keep to himself until he wants attention. He comes across as being a little timid and fearful, but he really is a sweetheart. Although he doesn't like being picked up, he appreciates the love! Spud gets along good with other cats! He is our cat greeter; he always greets new cats in our Catitat room. He has a low energy level, is nice with kids, and only "meows" for food. Spud uses a litterbox no problem, so no worries. Spud deserves so much more than spending the rest of his life at the Humane Society! He was found as a stray and brought to HSSCG about four years ago so that we can help him find his furever home. Since he arrived on 5/11/2007, he hasn't quite warmed up to his purrfect match. Like all of our cats, Spud has been neutered, micro chipped, given a Capstar upon arrival and departure to treat any fleas and ticks, and tested for feline leukemia (FELV) and feline aids (FIV). Come spend some time with Spud at your local Humane Society!
