Black, shorthair, DE-CLAWED, female, born approximately. 2/1/09, #9324PSerena came to The Rescue House after being found in a cardboard box along with an empty litter box and bowls; a note with her name was taped to it. Serena was adopted and initially all was well, yet when a deployed member of the family returned it was discovered that he was severely allergic to her. Serena moved to a different home within the family, but did not do well living with the other cats who had been there 1st.If you are looking for a gentle and devoted companion, look no further. Serena is precious, loving, and very dedicated to her person once she has a little time to get to know you. When you sit down, Serena will happily snuggle into your lap; when you go to sleep, Serena will happily snuggle up with you on the bed. When she's not in touching proximity, Serena enjoys lounging on a cat tree and watching the world go by through a sunny window. Serena would do best as an only cat in a quiet household without small kids . She can probably live with a calm dog.Serena knows that the key to life is relaxation with nice company.
