Timid - Precious - GentleScruffy is anything BUT scruffy! She is very cuddly, will head butt you for attention and petting, and will burrow her head into you while you hold her in your arms. She will even let out her distinct MEOW when she is in a super attention-seeking mood. When you pet or brush her, she will purrrrrrr and you will feel the vibration through her whole body. Even when you aren't petting her, she will sometimes start purring, make biscuits, and rub her head against nearby furniture in your presence. She's a stunning little showoff!Scruffy has a health condition known as Megacolon, which causes constipation without proper treatment. Other than the occasional treat, Scruffy can eat only wet food. She also requires medicine sprinkled over her meals every day and a little extra monitoring in the litterbox department to ensure that her regimen is on track. Her foster mom says that caring for Scruffy is super easy and more than worth it!Scruffy is shy with other cats, but currently she is hanging out with another shy cat in her foster home, and they seem to be nice pals! They make a good team at times. Scruffy doesn't need to be an only cat, but she likes her alone time and if she wants to be left alone for a while, she will let you know.Sometimes Scruffy likes to play and will bring a toy out, meow a bit, and try to get you to play with her. Or she may just come to where you are, check out what you are doing, get a drink of water, and go back to 1 of her favorite napping spots!Scruffy is a mature lady who would fit very well in a quieter home where she can develop a relaxing routine and be treated with the dignity a kitty her age has earned.
