Meet Sassy, 3 years old Domestic Medium Hair
My name is Sassy. Unlike my name, I am really a sweetie. I turned 1-year old in August 2011. I have been socialized with other cats and a dog. I am a special needs kitty. Do not let that scare you, as I had corrective surgery on February 5, 2011 and it practically fixed me great as new! I far exceeded the expectations of my veterinarian and surgeon. Before, I could only eat small amounts of very watered down canned food. I am now eating like a perfectly normal cat and can eat the dry kibble that I used to crave. My mega esophagus (the esophagus is a little bigger before it empties into my tummy) remains, but did not get too bad. The upper esophagus no longer gets stretched out from food pooling before it goes into my stomach. Now, food can sometimes get caught in the folds, but I just cough it up (I am a cat, and that is my job anyway!). Otherwise, I am a perfectly normal girl!I am looking for my forever home with a playmate or two. I love my kitty-go-round, glitter balls, toy mice, and playing with the other cats (including my sister, Sissy) at my foster home. I also enjoy attention, sitting on laps, playing with humans, and would love curling up next to you. Will you give me a chance to get to know you and love you?
