Meet Roosi, 10 years old Domestic Medium Hair

Roosi was found by 1 of our volunteers in a welding company's parking lot; he was dirty and starved and had obviously been homeless for quite some time. Such a sad state of affairs for a 10 yr old cat.Soon after he went up for adoption Roosi became ill from an upper respiratory infection and needed to get away from the shelter in order to recover. So the same volunteer took him home to hang out with some other kitties who were in the same boat.Roosi's foster mom told us it took no time at all to figure out that he was the "most precious lovebug", that he gets along really well with other cats and that he's housetrained. Also, once he was cleaned up, she learned how incredibly soft and exquisite his white and brown fur is, topped off (or actually bottomed off) by a huge fluffy tail. Mom also said he loves children. He's the total package!Roosi was already neutered when he was brought to the shelter, so someone in his past cared enough about him to do the responsible thing. How he ended up all by himself, living on the streets, we'll never know. We hope his rough journey ends in a place where love and security are constant and parking lots are a thing of the past.Roosi qualifies for the PAWS program if you are 55 or older. Cats can live for 20+ years so Roosi is only middle aged!
