Hello! My name is MAXINE, and I was brought to BHS when my previous guardian's lifestyle changed, and they didn't really have any time for me anymore; they said I was spending too much time alone. I am an independent cat who will let you know when I am done being rubbed or pet; and I don't really like being carried around. I have not lived with other animals in my previous home or been around kids so please keep this in mind when you decide to visit with me. I like having small stuffed animals around me, and catnip can be fun sometimes too! I am afraid of the vacuum cleaner, so please don't tease me with 1 if you adopt me. I'm an all-around good girl who will make a exquisite companion if you will give me a true forever home! Please visit BHS soon so we can meet. Thank you!
