Brown tabby and white, medium hair, female, born approximately. 6/1/07, #9495Katniss was found wandering alone and brought to a local animal rescue shelter. She waited for her family to come for her but they never did. Katniss is an attention hog who is very outgoing; she's always soliciting attention from you. Katniss likes nothing more than to have someone rub her face or give her scratches on the top of her head. Though not an official lap cat, Katniss is very fond of sitting by your side. She'll occasionally put her paw softly on your arm just to let you know that she is still there and happy to get some attention from you. Katniss is a very precious and gentle cat who settles into new environments very quickly.Katniss can get along with other cats if necessary, though she would prefer to be the only cat in her person's life. Gentle kids would be fine; we don't know how she feels about dogs.Katniss is looking for a roof over her head, three squares a day and most importantly, a real committed relationship.
