My name is Gentille, and I am that and more. I am a petite, 7 lb, girl looking for a quiet household, a human companion or 2 and a warm lap to lounge on: men, women, it doesn't matter as long as it's warm and inviting, and I get a lot of brushing, petting and kisses. As you will soon learn if we meet, I can never resist cuddling with someone lying down and I'll come running while singing to enjoy your human warmth. My foster parents never miss an occasion to sit/lay down with me and enjoy my affection. My soft white fur and tender purring seem to calm them right down. There is nothing better in this world than an afternoon siesta/TELEVISION time with me serving as a blanket!That is not to say I am all about lazing around. I may be retired, but I still have some kitten in me. I do enjoy the occasional romp around and I can't resist my favorite toy, the turbo scratcher. This always makes my foster mom and dad laugh. I don't understand why they think it is funny when I push the ball around with all my energy. I am only eleven after all. It is not like I am ancient. There is still plenty of life in this girl even if I do enjoy a nap in the sun and a cozy, warm spot to sleep in my cat bed or, better yet, on your bed at night.I could share your home with respectful dogs and perhaps another cat but I prefer a household without other pets. I will want to be the center of your attention (I am a cat after all and a rather royal 1 at that). I also like a special diet of Royal Canin low protein food that protects my kidneys. That and lots of fresh water from my cat fountain will keep me active and healthy as I gracefully age. I don't know about you, but I think I have some nice years ahead to spend with you.
