Ellie is a super friendly, mellow and affectionate girl who deserves a loving home to call her own. Born around 10/10/07, she loves to be cuddled and given a lot of attention. She is blind, but has an amazing ability to sense her surroundings and once she has gotten used to the area, it is almost impossible to tell she is any different from her sighted feline counterparts. Ellie was an emergency blood donor for kitten Gigi, who was crashing due to a virus which wiped out her immune system. The treating veterinarian recommended euthanasia for the kitten Gigi and though we declined and transfered vets, we knew even with a transfusion her chances were slim. Amazingly, from Ellie's blood donation, kitten Gigi survived (with some neurological damage, but otherwise happy and healthy). We are very grateful for Ellie's remarkable act of kindness to save Gigi. We have taken Ellie, who was living at the hospital, under the Anjellicle wing to find her a loving forever home. She has an amazingly lovable disposition and deserves all the best.
