Smoke, medium hair, male, born approximately. 2/25/01, #9696.When Charlie's guardian lost her job and then her home, she held out on giving up her beloved kitty for as long as possible, until she could no longer afford to give "her Chuck" the proper care he deserved.Charlie is an all-around great cat who enjoys a mellow lifestyle complete with a human buddy to hang out with. He'll sleep with you on the bed at night and is fine with being picked up for some cuddles; Charlie does have a few sensitive spots along his back, so he best likes to get head and belly rubs. He may officially be a "senior" kitty, yet Charlie isn't about to let a simple number slow him down when he feels like a nice romp. He'll chase after a stick toy just like a kitten on occasion (though it's true that he lumbers a bit more).Charlie has lived with another cat for most of his life and did well even though they didn't particularly bond. He likes a relaxed kind of environment where things aren't too noisy. Charlie would rather not live with small kids ; we don't know yet how he feels about dogs.Charlie lost his long-time home through no fault of his own and he feels a bit lost. He's a wonderful and friendly guy, though, and he is so looking forward to finding that new special person who will have the same depth of love that he has to offer. Could that person be you--?
