Cassandra is calm and confident. She has been a loving, patient mother to a litter of 4, all of which have been adopted. Cassandra is still young enough that she enjoys playing, but old enough that she calms down easily. Cassandra has excellent house manners and uses her litterbox and scratching post like a champ. She is definitely a lap cat who enjoys being petted and will nuzzle to let you know that she appreciates the attention. Cassandra is also relaxed and friendly around strangers and kids. Aside from her striking handsome looks, she is a very well balanced cat who would like a home where she can get all the love and attention she deserves. And like most female kitties, she does have a bit of sass, which makes her even more endearing.Cassandra is also FIV positive. FIV is a virus that lives in a cat and can cause a weakened immune system. It is NOT contagious to humans, dogs, or any other species other than cats. And it is only contagious to other cats through deep, penetrating bite wounds - something that is unlikely given Cassandra's temperament! FIV+ cats live long lives. The only big difference with having an FIV+ kitty is that shots must be kept up to date. If FIV+ kitties ever show signs of illness, they sould be taken the veterinarian as soon as possible to avoid lengthy sickness or complications.
